Compassionate Death

February 20th and 21st

Tuition: $225

The Star Journey or Death Lodge is part of life. As a shaman it is always a gift to support the person transitioning and their families. In this weekend we will learn many ways to be with death in a compassionate way. Many of the teachings are from the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Deposession and Chod, Feeding Your Demons

April 10th, 11th: Saturday Chod, Sunday, Deposession

Chod is an ancient Tibetan Buddhist practice that cuts the cord of our deepest fears. The female shaman, Machig Labdron travelled all over India and Tibet sharing these teachings and freeing many from their suffering.

Lama Tsultrim Allione, the founder of Tara Mandala Buddhist Center, developed the chod practice in a western style that allows the practitoner to actually transform their deepest fears, our inner demons, into our closest allies.

Sunday we will learn a gentle but effective way to release energy that has “possesed” the person’s soul.

In the frantic life that many lead, there is spiritually more and more evidence of negative forces taking over a person’s spirit. The shaman, with the help of their compassionate teachers, is able to open a doorway for these forces to pass with grace and healing.

We will learn the Seven Dragon Treatment for releasing the Seven Poisons, known as Deposession.

“The Vision Quest was life changing not only for myself, but for those I prayed for. It helped me to release energy that had been binding me to old patterns and to move forward with my life. I highly recommend it for anyone!”

Marie Rodriguez

“My cranial work has taken on a whole new dimension thanks to the techniques I learned while studying with Rose. I found her approach inspiring and easy to apply, not only in treatments but in my daily life. I really appreciated how she colorfully blended elements of shamanism, Tibetan Buddhism and polarity therapy. She truly honors this work as the healing art it is.”
