Deposession and Chod, Feeding Your Demons
April 10th, 11th: Saturday Chod, Sunday, Deposession
Chod is an ancient Tibetan Buddhist practice that cuts the cord of our deepest fears. The female shaman, Machig Labdron travelled all over India and Tibet sharing these teachings and freeing many from their suffering.
Lama Tsultrim Allione, the founder of Tara Mandala Buddhist Center, developed the chod practice in a western style that allows the practitoner to actually transform their deepest fears, our inner demons, into our closest allies.
Sunday we will learn a gentle but effective way to release energy that has “possesed” the person’s soul.
In the frantic life that many lead, there is spiritually more and more evidence of negative forces taking over a person’s spirit. The shaman, with the help of their compassionate teachers, is able to open a doorway for these forces to pass with grace and healing.
We will learn the Seven Dragon Treatment for releasing the Seven Poisons, known as Deposession.
